In the quietness of an ancient Abbey with a panoramic view all over the Region Marche
Hotel Monteconero stands at the top of the Conero promontory at an altitude of 550m and enjoys a magnificent position with a view of the Adriatic and the gentle hills of the Marches. Originally an 12th century Camaldolite abbey, the hotel has retained its external structure, including the Romanesque Church of St. Peter.
LA BADIA
Since times before the year 1000, the tranquility of the places have attracted men inclined to meditation and recollection to the Conero promontory. The first historical information about the Abbey of S. Pietro dates back to 1038 when the church was donated by the Cortesi Counts of Sirolo to an abbot

On the top of the Conero promontory, at 550 m. high, the Hotel Monteconero enjoys an enchanting position overlooking the Adriatic Sea and the rolling hills of the Marche. Housed in a Camaldolese abbey of 1100, the hotel preserves its ancient external structure intact, in which the Romanesque church of San Pietro al Conero is inserted.
